Time to ditch my CQR. A Mantus 65 will work with a few mods to my roller or windlass locker to accommodate the longer shank.

Mantus makes great anchors. The current Practical Sailor tested dinghy anchors and the Mantus reigned supreme. I never trusted the grapnel anchor that I have, and then it floated away from the beach and had to be rescued by another sailor. I want a Mantus dinghy anchor for Christmas!

We have read such great reviews on this anchor over the years; wish it had been available when we started our circumnavigation...

Hopefully, Santa will bring us a 55 lb or 65 lb Mantus for Christmas. Ooohhh, perhaps that pretty stainless steel one. Please, please, Santa. Here's our wishlist:
