On a Catalina 27, the Fortress is nice for being lightweight, but sometimes when I'm coastal cruising here in Florida it comes unset with a decent reversed current at which point I could care less about extra weight on the bow! It sure would be nice to have a decent storm anchor in case I'm ever unfortunate enough to be caught in a front (knock on wood).
