Fishead, I'm really sorry we dropped the ball on your requests and missed phone calls. If you still have any issues, please let me know.

Celestialsailor, the safety gates are injection molded and we are in the process of changing materials to improve durability.

Training Wheels, if you still have credit, it never expires. Send me an email and I can help you out with a new code to use for your balance.

Zboss, we will replace any broken gates free of charge and will include a spare if you request. Sorry for the problems. We are looking at material changes to improve durability.

Ocean Cowbouy, the Mantus package you own certainly qualifies you for a free t-shirt!
We'd love to send you one. Send me your shipping info.

Barnakiel, We recognize we messed up here and will rectify it. Customer satisfaction is very important to us - many of our customers come to us because of positive referrals from their friends and dock mates. We would never want to jeopardize that. We want every customer to be very pleased with not only our products but also with our service. And if they aren't, we will make it right.
Obviously something failed in our office processes. We are reviewing that and will make corrections.
Thanks,
Deneen

It seems to me this operation is quick to market and slow on testing.

Ok...I gave my address to Greg. Can you check to see if I am on the shipping list?

re: Mantus

Wow you guys at Mantus actually seem to care. Perhaps you could come to NZ and teach a few of our companies to do that.

re: Mantus

Sounds like they dropped a couple of balls, but are willing to apologize and make it right. Good customer service doesn't mean you never make a mistake, but when you do make an infrequent error you bend over backwards to correct it. That's what I'm seeing here.

And yes, I'm a happy Mantus customer (anchor, chain hook, cockpit light, deck plate key, and one of the coolest bottle openers ever). Oh yes, and one of those "Women Who Sail" burgees that I bought my wife for Christmas last year.

Greg Kutsen spent at least a combined 1 - 1 1/2 hours between phone and email comms making sure I was buying what I needed, and not what I didn't. The customer service I received was second to none. and that Mantus anchor is great, I sleep better on the hook knowing it's down there. and look here, 12 hour's 4 minutes and Greg is here trying to make it right.
+1!

Re: Mantus

I was speaking with my wife at home in Ca., last night on the phone from here in Mx. True to their work, they sent my chain hook clip retainer. When I go home for the holidays, I'll bring it back down with me.

I bought two of the Mantus head lights. Absolutely superb!! [emoji1360][emoji1360] easy to use, various light levels including low glow red.
