pirate Azores rescue..
Two people airlifted by helicopter from water after calling for help..
Just seen this on Portuguese news..
The boat was off Terciera and you can just make out the island, maybe 10nm away in the background.. the yacht looks between 36 to 40ft and the seas don't look terrible at all.. Wind maybe 25-30kts but as one was being hauled up the divers cam showed the second crew member standing on the sugar scoop waiting to jump in for his turn.. not exactly hanging on for dear life.
Will see if more news as to reason for emergency is forthcoming or if it's just another case of the boat being stronger than the crews bottle..
