As of last 9:00 night Judy was resting peacefully under sedation while we wait for lung issues to resolve.

Subsequently, however, she has suffered some kidney and heart complications which has us all worried. I will be going over it with the doctors this morning.

I can only do PayPal as my Bank blocks many online payments with the many online scams these days... I've tried 3 times using Debit and CC with the same result.
This is what comes up for me.
Boatie, I using the web platform, not the mobile platform. This is what I get with PayPal being the first payment method option; note the tip slider only becomes active after the dollar amount is entered.

Hi Wottie... I just get Venmo, Goggle Pay and Debit/Credit options, one more option than the mobile but the PayPal still does not come up.
This is really annoying me..

Fred I am really sorry to read the current update on Judy's condition and the need now for dialysis. I wish you continued strength going through this very difficult time.

Fred, I just read the most recent update. I am so sorry for what you are going through. Still saying a prayer for you. And I know the bills go on.

Yes, Don, the bills continue, no matter what we're going through, don't they?

If someone would like to donate again, or someone new, here is the link I used. There was a 1% tax, but perhaps you can figure out how to not pay it....

^^ Hmm...the link above didn't work for me but this one does (there is slight difference in the punctuation).

Re: Cruising Forum Member in Distres-Judy Jensen

Lordy, how my heart goes out to Fred. Judy had heart failure during the "routine procedure." Last week they started dialysis. She has been intubated.

Jim and I sat death watch for Jim's sister, who had collapsed from heart failure. She (Jim's sis) was not conscious when she was intubated, and her body struggled against it), and she never regained consciousness. There are medical details with Judy's care that we will never know, but the bills go on.

You guys out there who are not family members, remember if you for whatever reason don't donate $1,000, or even $5.00, if enough people donate only $2.00, Fred can be helped here, even if Judy passes.

No matter whether or not they Fred & Judy might have afforded medivac insurance through the divers medivac insurance, what happened, has happened. Whether or not they might have made safer or more user-friendly arrangements isn't the issue. The issue is that one or both of them will come out of this, disabled in body or in money to live on, or both.

Please, who can help with a good heart about it, please do so. They're one of the lower bucks types of cruisers among us who turned it all into a good run, on their own terms. I would not wish crippling debt on anyone, let alone someone who has tried to help, here.

For those who might ask, "Well, Ann, did you guys donate?" Yes, anonymously, because where I come from, it would be shameful to put one's name, like trying to grab credit for being a "good guy". We're all from different backgrounds, and I believe there is a legitimate need here.

Ann
