I have a friend in Nicaragua...Curious how they found it and how long they were there. What type of vessel are they on...Glad they were ok....

San Andreas is not Nicaragua! Don't believe any cruising boats dare venture anywhere near the Carib Nicaraguan coast. Most boats try to stay east of 82 deg W until well North of Gracio a Dios.

I understand that, I lived on the mainland as close as you could get to it and the Colombians I mentioned went there because it is part of their country.
