Two people rescued, boat sunk Winyah Bay

The 44-foot sailboat The Answer My Friend went up on the breakwater and sunk, and two people were pulled from the water. Don't know the specifics, but those submerged breakwaters extend well out to sea and are very hard to spot even in good conditions. https://www.counton2.com/news/local-...ar-winyah-bay/

They are marked on the chart, at low tide you see them, at high tide maybe not

Winyah Bay, about 3 miles of a well marked entrance channel before reaching the breakwaters.

I've been in and out of there in both zero visibility and big seas, and both times I thought to myself how easy it would be to wander over one of those jetties and get in trouble.
