Waterspout going through Key west Mooring

Pretty insane video. Several sailboats impacted directly. This was a smaller waterspout also.

Wild video! We were sailing in the training ship Hermione in the Med near Toulon in April 2018, 30 crew up on the main topsail yard reefing the main topsail as some ugly clouds were approaching and wind building into the high 20's low 30's and I turned to look astern, there was a waterspout touching down a half mile behind us.. Waterspouts really not fun on a square rigged ship with masts 160 feet tall.. I remember learning every colour of French profanity from the captain right then, although he was in no way panicked and it was all muttered disdainfully in the direction of the waterspout. Thankfully it changed course and we were going away from it at a decent rate.

Man those monos were getting slapped around hard! And that one catamaran rode it like a champ.

I found it easy to track waterspouts on radar when crossing the Gulf Stream. Tracked 3 clearly one day.

I think I heard Mother Nature yelling YEEEEAAAH as she ripped through the anchorage...

It's nice to see natural forces having fun.

Well two takeaways. 1) the guy on the other jet ski is an idiot and 2) there was a real POS mono in that film.
