Looks like a nice spot. Not sure where I scored the full-size version of the photo. it seems the photographer isn't sharing it anymore.

I'm sure no one will believe me, but when I saw the picture, I was thinking that looks like the island used in that film.

And if Turtle can go along she will. I go for a second try at an MRI on Monday to get this messed up shoulder dealt with. I have small space issues so we'll have to try drugs first to get me in that tube. That is one fabulous looking island............m

Cantxsailor, what about an open MRI? Though the drugs will do a fine job too (versed, ask for versed ). Hope your shoulder heals up.

Funny this should be posted right now. I actually had a snorkel there on Tuesday evening. Absolutely fantastic. The island is still uninhabited and is being set up as a iguana sanctuary. I was doing a servicing job at nearby Tokoriki Island resort and had some spare time late in the day so some of the staff who come from the village that owns Monuriki asked if I wanted to visit with them. Sometimes my job sucks (but most times it doesn't)

Unfortunately the Admiral has banned me from taking the digicam to work after I trashed the last one and my phone doesn't take pics so all I have are memories. Definitely one of the perks of my job here, I have been on 4 different outlying islands in less than a week.
