Great diving & snorkeling in Belize.

Less developed than BVI so bar/restaurant options are mostly limited to a few areas, but many miles of reef to explore.

Waters are much more complex than BVI so local knoweledge aboard is a good idea.

An August charter in the tropics can be fine, and usually at a lower rate, but get trip insurance. Charter companies don't give weather refunds.
