Chesapeake Bay FOGs

I own a Compac 16 and I’m interested in organizing an informal group for short, medium, long, and/or extensive “fleet” cruisers on the Chesapeake Bay. The common ground would be “Freakin’ Old Guys (Gala)” (FOGs) and small (say, 15’ to 17’) trailerable sailboats (make not important). This idea is blatantly taken from Dick Herman’s Caly’s Island.
If you are interested and have suggestions, please respond. If there is any interest, we could arrange to meet at a convenient restaurant (I’m in the Baltimore area but willing to travel for a get-together).

Re: Chesapeake Bay FOGs

There's a Shallow Water Sailors group that hosts an annual spring cruise on the Chesapeake. They have a lot of boats in that size range. Good bunch of people, too.
