GPS / Sat Nav upgrade

Hi,

I have just brought a yacht and it has a Navigator MK9 GPS -D on board. There are 2 screens one at the nav table and one on the steering column.

The screen on the one by the nav table you cant read the screen as its numbers are too faint.

I was wondering does anyone know of an upgraded system I can literally remove the 2 current boxes and replace with a newer one so don't need to go through the hassle of having to set up new wiring positions etc

Preferably I would like to upgrade to a chart plotter style where you can see the actual maps and relative position rather than just the digital position.

I have one already on the yacht but this could be a backup if I can replace these.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I recommend that you watch videos on YouTube since at this time everything goes there and it is free online, plus you waste less time friend.

Hi, been trying that but seems not much info, could be the systems are a bit too old. Thanks for replying.
