You must have bought your 473 the same place. I also have one. Leaving in Dec. From Kemah to Bahamas.
I will drop Anchor and stay for the winter. I bought a 2011 model. It has every option available. Someone back out and they cut me a deal that was way to good to pass up. Happy sailing.

How was the trip and what route did you take?

We sailed across from Tampa to Kemah in April 2011, with a stop in Grand Isle. Once we past SW channel of Mississippi River, the current 10-15 miles off the coast helped us 0.5 - 1 knots.
