Epoch 300AH

Hi stupid question, we are upgrading to LiFePO4 batteries and was interested in the Epoch 300AH battery, I presume this is a better way to go than 3 of the 100AH batteries in parallel?


The 300ah is also in a lot smaller foot print than 3 of their 100AH so not sure how they did that and if that should concern me?

You only have one battery, so if it dies that's it, whereas the other way you may still have two serviceable ones depending on what failed. That's why I like twin engine boats.

There are 4 304AH EVE cells in series inside the case. Not a concern, IMO.

I installed two in parallel replacing 6 6 volt AGMs. Quite happy so far.

Look at some youtube videos that show you how to make a battery pack out of cells.

you will also nead a BMS for another $150 or so.
