IN SOUTHERN California?

At some point, from someone I heard of an excellent company with an awesome LiPo4 battery in Southern California. I tucked that away somewhere safe so safe I cannot find it. Is there still such company. I want to think it was in the San Diego area possibly but I’m not sure. Maybe it was a dream. Does anyone have an idea if this illusive beast of cost and quality even exists??? Thank you. Brandon.

High Quality price right. Basically. Isn’t that the quest.

Re: IN SOUTHERN California?

I’m not aware of any San Diego based manufacturers. California environmental regulations and cost structure compared to other areas doesn’t make it conducive to this. Try Epoch batteries.

Re: IN SOUTHERN California?

I used to inspect a battery factory in Azusa, Calif. "Concorde Innerspace" that made AGM batteries for aircraft. They also made Lifeline AGM's and those spiral batteries. Lifeline now makes some Lithium batts. The factory was known for high quality to meet military and aircraft specs.

Re: IN SOUTHERN California?

If the price was cheap, chances are the California company was simply importing made in China LiPo4 batteries.

There may be more, but the only US companies I'm aware of making lithium batteries are EnerSys, Duracell and Battleborn, and none of those are headquartered in California.

Relatively inexpensive but quality. I realize the majority of them are manufactured in china. While that is true, there is still the gamut of quality. It was a shot in the dark, I also realize to ask this here. I just wish I remember my source.

Grok turned up this company in Santa Ana.

Basic LFP batteries. I didn't see anything special.
