Old 31' Going Electric - looking for some advice

I've had a bit of a disaster and my big 4-108 needs to be rebuilt or replaced. So, I decided to go electric. I sold the diesel to a local mechanic who wants to part it out. He's pulling it this week.

I spoke to some nice people at Thunderstruck Electric, they're going to set me up with this: https://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/ac-...601-clone.html And a gear reduction to go with it.

I still need to get batteries and probably a bunch of other things. Does anyone here have any suggestions of what I need to look out for? And "gotchas" that hit you in the wallet 2 weeks after you think you're all done?

Anyone have any experience with Thunderstruck-ev?
