Thoughts for making a 24v lifepo4 outboard battery as small as possible.

Apart from having your gas regular outboard, you might want a battery to run your up to 2 kw electric outboard for the short journeys.
Why is it 24v, because the rest of the boat is 24v. (If the boat was 48v then I would try to make this box 48v)
So it needs to be waterproof, light, have a light, a decent shunt style monitor, usb charging plug with A and C and also perhaps a car cig style socket.
The EVE 105ah cells weigh 16kg and with a pelican box it’s sort of briefcase like and only 17 kgs roughly.
There is 2 lights, 1 red, 1 white so you can choose
The usb sockets are 8-32v… the have an on button that shows the voltage… this is important for the car socket below.
The car socket is 24v, or 12v as it has an inside switch to choose …actually it runs all of these sockets on 12v or 24v as inside the case is a 24-12v 10a adapter.
It also has the traditional + - poles on the outside with a bolt in each pole so you can add plugs as required without cutting more holes.
So this keeps it light , adaptable, and waterproof and also smallish.

Not only does it run your outboard and show remaining capacity, but you can also use it for the evening beach party… hmm I’m not doing that rubbish..but for those of you that do…
