You should be able to get to Newfoundland now, I know of a couple from Toronto that just went there, cruised and had their boat hauled this past month.

Oh, I can. But by the time things opened up, it was waaay too late to even consider getting the boat in the water. The season is just too short (for me).

But you're right, I could go there now, and I would if I absolutely had to. But it's no small expense to get there for this cost-conscious cruiser.

Is the "printed page" cruising license a new thing? When I went down in 2017 all they did was give me a "license number" over the phone!
