Impedance to what? Further infection? There's some scientific evidence to back that up.

Impedance [Z], a vector quantity of resistance and reactance, is an expression of the opposition that an electronic component, circuit, or system offers to alternating and/or direct electric current.

But, I’ve read that COVID-19 can cause erectile dysfunction (ED).

As early as June 2020, studies showed a link between COVID-19 and erectile dysfunction [ED]. This was an unexpected finding, since people who were sick with COVID-19 were mainly having lung and respiratory symptoms.

Ongoing research demonstrated that the COVID-19 virus attacks the endothelium. The endothelium is the lining of all blood vessels, like veins and arteries, in the body.
The process is complex, but basically, when the endothelium is damaged, blood vessels don’t work properly and can’t deliver oxygen and other nutrients to the body’s organs. Without them, organs can’t function as well.

And since all organs have blood vessels, the COVID-19 virus could cause damage to any organ in the body this way — including the penis.

“Addressing male sexual and reproductive health in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak” ~ by A. Sansone et al

Despite being a trivial matter for patients in intensive care units (ICUs), erectile dysfunction (ED) is a likely consequence of COVID-19 for survivors, and considering the high transmissibility of the infection and the higher contagion rates among elderly men, a worrying phenomenon for a large part of affected patients ...”

““Mask up to keep it up”: Preliminary evidence of the association between erectile dysfunction and COVID-19" ~ by Andrea Sansone et al
“Erectile dysfunction (ED), as the hallmark of endothelial dysfunction, could be a short- or long-term complication of COVID-19. It appears Covid causes IMPOTENCE (not impedence), not the vaccine.

Yes, logically that would have been even better including the distribution of vaccinations

I think KMD is referring to the (fully debunked) idea suggested by Nikki Minaj that she had a friend (of a friend?) who becane infertile after covid-19 vaccination

Yes. It would have saved lives and slowed the spread. In the US the supply of vaccinations exceed the demand while a lot of countries the opposite is true. It is truly shameful the way it was and is being handled.

In general, prescription medications are not covered under Canada's medicare (Don't confuse this with USA Medicare).

However "treatments" requiring drugs in hospitals, even very expensive ones, are often covered (which ones are covered differs between the Provinces).

National "Pharmacare" has been on and off the political discussion - - let's not go there - - and with the current minority government, there is a small chance it will return to the discussion. (But not before "$19/day Daycare".)

Under it's generic name (sildenafil), under the BC Medical Plan, it can be prescribed by specialists (and paid for under the province's Pharmacare program for low-income residents) for certain heart conditions.

Will Canadians with mixed-vaccine doses be blocked from U.S. flights?

Interesting opinion piece in Globe & Mail (written by a research fellow at Harvard).

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opin...om-us-flights/

On a different issue, the author suggests reason behind US allowing Canadians to fly into USA may be due to pressure from US airlines.

Ladies and gents, I hate to say it but... it may just be better to ask to have this thread closed in lieu of allowing it to be used by trolls, misinformation specialists and outright liars.

It's been made abundantly clear we will not be able to have a thread here about Canadian COVID-19 News.

The inmates are running the asylum.

I'm out.

Don't leave. Just don't respond to them ... at all. Put them on ignore if you must, but all they want is attention and conflict. So if we ignore them, they'll go somewhere else.

Mike, based on your posting history alone from the time I've been on this forum, I have a great deal of respect for you.

They have all been put on ignore but the feeding just shows their posts anyway (as the reply). This is a boating forum, I hate to see it being used as a platform for those kinds of people to spread their poison.
