Not to mention that the "previous guy" went from pandemic with no cure to vaccine in 9 months thanks to "operation warp speed". Excuse me, that's been renamed as "Biden's Saving Grace."

Nobody denies that the money dumped into vaccine development was very helpful. Many countries did the same, and there are now several vaccines that have more or less passed approval. This is all good.

Still... hoax, done by April, withdrawing from WHO and COVAX, "the hydroxy", ultraviolet, bleach, "stop testing", sidelining the experts...500+k American covid deaths by spring 2021 ... good outcome?

And ain't it cool that none of us in the boat-owning class were ever at risk, financially, physically or otherwise, so that we can continue to engage in this partisan nonsense over a serious global pandemic?

It’s hard to give any credibility to people who dismiss the magnitude of this accomplishment -unknown virus to cure - in 9 months. Disingenuous twisting out of context seems more their forté

Phew. Good thing I didn't dismiss it, then.

I understand what they're trying to say/do. I even understand the why in what they're trying to say/do. On the other hand, the reality is different than the fantasy that's being foisted off on everyone. The only ones who don't seem to see that are those pushing the fantasy.

I believe that masks will be a thing of the past by late summer. Unless something else comes along. Which I'm not discounting.

If the rate of vaccinations can stay high, I think that's a reasonable expectation.

Please do not try to win an argument here: it isn't about "winning" and there are plenty of other venues for that type of discussion. The constant bickering that has been happening on CF needs for you to control yourselves to stop. Don't take bait. If necessary, use the ignore button. Don't over expose yourselves to negative input.

You can explain why you prefer the sources you use, but also link to them. Debate ideas, not personalities.

Some of you need to give yourselves a time out, imo.
