Covid vaccines: risk vs benefit alarming news

I took my first jab. Since then I've grown a 3rd nipple (I'll not say where) I drool uncontrollably, but OMG colors are so vivid!



All joking aside, it was no worse than a flu shot. A little soreness at injection site and gone after 1 1/2 days. So looking forward to beaches and spending time with my granddaughter. I'd like to get her sailing lessons this year.

I'm pretty sure It'll end up being similar here. Private businesses will apply their own rules. Different countries and states will/are setting rules for tourism. And so the world spins.

That is the totally unacceptable part , the vaccine passport.
Personally I can accept any vaccine , I had most of them for my travels . Yellow fever , typhoid, polio, hepatitis and a few more and I am fine with it because they are all legitimate vaccines for legitimate diseases and I got all of them voluntarily. But when they talk about forced vaccination , that’s what vaccines passport are, it’s absolutely, totally unacceptable. Over my dead body.

No one is being forced to take a vaccine, just like no one is forced to grab a pint at the local. It's all up to you.

Choices come with consequences. You can certainly choose to remain potentially infectious. The rest of us can choose to not allow you into our company.

If you want the benefits of community, then you act to support the community. If you want to be a lone wolf, that's your choice. But as the old lesson goes, you can't have your cake and eat it to.

HIPAA is fairly protective about your medical information. Private businesses outside of your employer can't require vaccinations or ask about them as your vaccination record is considered protected information under HIPAA. Employers can't compel you to get a vaccination if you object on religious or ADA grounds. They can, however, require you to wear a mask or take other precautions as an accommodation against their requirement.

When we were kids no one thought anything of getting Measles, Mumps, Rubella, German Measles, Chicken Pox and so on - I've had em all along with my siblings and my children - Its just that for decades they have been running a massive fear & propaganda campaign, putting the fear of death (literally) into parents of young children, but I suppose that is capitalism for you.
