First court cases in Germany for vaccine side effects and damages, sued the state and probably AZ, as well as the doctors recommending / performing the vaccination before it was green lighted by the StIKo. The sums are ridiculously low caped from the state - maximum costs covered 15000€ for medical help, 811€ pension for life time damages.

Only in German, but Google translate may help.

“Why is it so hard to investigate the rare side effects of COVID vaccines?” ~ by Ariana Remmel [April 2021]
For the vast majority of people, COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. But further research is needed to understand the causes of rare adverse events.

There have always been vaccine compensation attempts , nothing to see here.

Blindsided Abroad: Fully vaccinated couple travel on vacation to Greece from the USA but then testing positive for COVID before a return flight from Europe

https://www.yahoo.com/news/blindside...191836367.html

If you travel one must be prepared to be forced into expensive quarantine and to not be allowed to repatriate or continue on your plans. Yeah, this pandemic is not over and break through infections are becoming evermore common of those that had previously been infected and recovered [i.e., so called naturally acquired immunity] and of those that have been vaccinated. The Delta variant is clearly more contagious.
And there is no vaccine passport for those that are infected which is why there will continue to be required timely testing for travel. Don't go someplace unless you are willing to spend considerable amount of time there and not be able to return.

Snipets:

"The couple suspect they caught the virus in South Carolina in July before they traveled to Greece." . . . “We had our vaccinations cards. We felt healthy. We’re in our 50s. It really didn’t occur to us that we had COVID,”

Greece does not require fully vaccinated visitors to provide a coronavirus test before entering the country. Therefore, Watson did not realize he was probably carrying the virus until the end of their trip. In hindsight, DeMuth, said that because of the highly transmissible nature of the delta variant, she would recommend getting a test before departure as an extra precaution, even if it is not required by the destination.

“Even if you don’t have any symptoms and don’t feel sick, you don’t want to put other communities at risk,”

"Every detail of their trip ran seamlessly until they were waiting in line for their flight home to South Carolina on Aug. 3, when Watson, 51 — who, along with DeMuth, is fully vaccinated — received an email saying he had tested positive for the coronavirus."

“We were in total shock and didn’t know what to do,” Watson recalled. “Then 10 minutes later, we received a call from the Greek authorities telling us they were going to get a van and take us to a quarantine hotel.”

When Europe reopened its borders to Americans in June after a 15-month ban, the highly contagious delta coronavirus variant was not as prevalent as it is today, and breakthrough infections for the fully vaccinated were rare. But now, with the delta strain making up more than 90% of the cases in Europe and the United States, stories of travelers catching the virus abroad — including those who are fully vaccinated — are beginning to surface. Their plans have been upended by mandatory quarantine requirements in different countries.

The New York Times spoke with people who got sick with COVID-19 during recent vacations to Europe and were forced to extend their trips to recover."

Just travel to and from countries that only use a vaccine pass to get in or go out from. No pcr test needed.

Northern Europe during Pandemic -- Summers 2020 & 2021

Let’s keep getting the unvaccinated vaccinated

“The Chairman of the British Medical Association in Northern Ireland has said it is inevitable that unvaccinated people will become infected with Covid-19……..

"We're seeing a lot of patients in hospital, 400 at the moment in hospital in Northern Ireland with 49 in intensive care. That's a lot of work to be putting on the hospitals," he said.

Dr Black said people who do not get their jabs will get the virus.

"Given that this virus is endemic, anyone who hasn't been vaccinated will inevitably get this infection," he said.

"The virus is very good at finding those who haven't been vaccinated, and that's what's happening at the moment.

……

Dr Black said that there is an onus on younger people to get vaccinated and act as citizens in society and do their part to protect their relatives and friends.

He said there is a "presumption that they are well" and would suffer only a mild illness, but, he said: "We have seen deaths and lots of illness in younger age groups."

He said the fastest way to get back to life is to have both vaccines

Dr Black said that nearly three quarters of the patients in intensive care units in Northern Ireland have not been vaccinated and that while a small number among the overall population have not been vaccinated, they make up the majority in hospital.

The Department of Health in Belfast, meanwhile, has reported 1,963 news cases of Covid-19 and further nine deaths in the past 24 hours.

To date, 2,389,725 vaccine doses have been administered in Northern Ireland.”

And potentially spread the virus around? I'd say voluntary testing is a good thing to do.

Gord, you do know you are quoting the actual person who illegally used NIH funds to develop "gain of function" of Covid to begin with, right?

That's putting a lot of faith in someone who is acting in bad faith from the beginning.

Israel has one of the world's highest daily COVID-19 infection rates, despite high vaccine uptake

Nearly 80% of Israeli adults are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, which constitutes 58% of the country's relatively young population.

But the rising case rates in Israel may indicate that the protection afforded by vaccines wanes over time. Health officials and Pfizer scientists noted a lapse in protection six to eight months after the second shot, which was timed right around the Delta variant's arrival in Israel this summer.

Half of the seriously ill COVID patients currently hospitalized in Israel were fully vaccinated five or more months ago. Most of them are over 60 years old and have comorbidities, putting them at a higher risk of developing severe illness.
