Maybe they could also give him a damn good flogging.

Flogging is way too good for that guy.

Please, don’t encourage that one to visit. We don’t need them here.

Re: The Reality of Living in Australia and Covid

Today's good news, Covid doomsday news is no longer on the front page of The Age, we seem to have moved on to this sort of the thing
https://www.theage.com.au/national/n...01-p594vn.html

However, what happened to the hundreds of thousands of Australians trapped overseas that were busting a gut to get home?
First quarantine free plane into Sydney yesterday had fewer than 30 passengers and Qantas says that due to lack of demand they won't be starting international flights into Melbourne for another week.

The Reality of Living in Australia and Covid

I am continually astounded by the sort of outright rudeness expressed by others about the situation here in Australia.

Good taste alone suggests that you keep your opinion to yourselves. Fine, if you don’t like how we do things here, stay away.

Just be aware that some of us are far too civilised to comment on the handling of Covid by other developed countries that have allowed three quarters of a million of their citizens to succumb to this disease in the name of arbitrary and subjective concepts poorly conveyed by simplistic jingoistic expressions such as “freedom”.

Keep your damn opinions to yourselves, and frankly, stay the away from my country.

Its not true, Treason pursuant to The Commonwealth Criminal Code is
Quote:
80.1 Treason
(1) A person commits an offence if the person:
(a) causes the death of the Sovereign, the heir apparent of the Sovereign, the consort of the Sovereign, the Governor‑General or the Prime Minister; or
(b) causes harm to the Sovereign, the Governor‑General or the Prime Minister resulting in the death of the Sovereign, the Governor‑General or the Prime Minister; or
(c) causes harm to the Sovereign, the Governor‑General or the Prime Minister, or imprisons or restrains the Sovereign, the Governor‑General or the Prime Minister; or
(d) levies war, or does any act preparatory to levying war, against the Commonwealth; or
(g) instigates a person who is not an Australian citizen to make an armed invasion of the Commonwealth or a Territory of the Commonwealth.
Penalty: Imprisonment for life.
Now Dictator Dan may be a dill, but I haven't noticed him declaring war on Australia. Whilst archaic laws of Victoria would under the common law provisions in existence there still include Treason the reality of Section 51 of the Constitution is that no prosecution under state law would survive a constitutional challenge.
