Well lockdowns are tough, especially for Fido.

My two pups reckon 'lockdown' is brilliant - as was that clip.
The big fella had a serious case of 'separation anxiety' when I left home for a fortnight last month.
Jim and Ann have heard his views via the Comedy Net regarding early morning walkies.

Zero transmission mandates result in Draconian authoritarian states and as I previously said are economically unsustainable - Yes the the big corps and the mining industry is doing fine propping up the country, but what about the small businesses that have gone under and families that have lost their livelihoods and jobs? - Tough $hit for them I suppose?

Australian has some of the most stringent mandates on the planet and unless they can come up with some sort on non zero transmission policy this will never end here, fully vaccinated as a nation or not.

The Premier of WA has already stated that he may ignore the 80% vacination thing.

That is a REAL issue that most people do not appear to comprehend

But hey I guess some people get off on the buzz of being told what to do and where they can and can not go and what family and when they are allowed to see them, but not all of us are a fan of living under a permanent state of emergency.
You have told what you don't like and what you wouldn't do.

So what would you do?
Given that you live in a state with the lowest vaccination rate in the country especially in the north.

To give some context here are two graphs for NSW - daily new cases and numbers hospitalised. How many spare beds do you have in WA?

And also 825 new cases in NSW today. 'Zerocovid' was last week's very good idea.

Yes so easy to rise up and vent at the demonising goberment, much more difficult to put forward a comprehensive forward plan.

Re: The Reality of Living in Australia and Covid

How come stupid people never like being told what to do? I suppose freedom to be stupid is an inalienable right, more important than public health.

Think about it. If you were doing the smart thing, most people would not try to give you advice. They would compliment you. The fact that many people are appalled by your attitudes should tell you something.

They see that you don't understand science and the world and are maybe jeopardizing your life, so they try to help you see what intelligent people see.

I guess that's a mistake.

It's better, I suppose, to say nothing and let you and yours die from covid and ignorance. Certainly, the world's IQ would edge up a few points. So go for it.

Resistance to lock downs is building with demonstrations in state capitols today.

I think he's figured out some of the Australian penchant for anti-government sentiment:

Raymond, please, Raymond, put down the remote and walk very slowly away - backwards - from Sky and your TV.
Then pop a Bex and have a little lie down.

Before you nod off - what is your solution?
