2 Months in Greece

Hey looking for any advice on how to utilize two months in Greece. Starting in Corfu and at the moment finishing there as well, though trying to get an Athens finish approved.
What would a suggested itinerary look like? Would it be best to head South down through the Pelopennese or head through the Corinth canal and then return northwards?
Do you reckon that two months would be enough time to get up into the Northern Sporades and then return through the Cyclades?

Any suggestions and thoughts appreciated.

The Corinth due to remedial works is only open for July through oct.

I’d suggest a anti clockwise around the Peloponnese if you wish to end up in Athens. Takes you away from short term charters etc.

If you have to return to corfu , you’ll have to synchronise with the canal limited opening this year. The Peloponnese can be a right slog in the wrong winds ( mind you in the southern part of always seems on the nose anyway ! )

Personally I like to stay 4-5 days in places I like so I while away 8 weeks in no time

Thanks for the reply. Actually looking at 2023 for the trip, just starting to forward plan. Do you know if the Corinth canal will be open the next sailing season?

No one knows of the Corinth will even open this year , despite official announcements never mind next year

Is there any update on the Corinth Canal for 2023? booked to be leaving Corfu at beginning of May and returning end of June.

So from what i read I'm assuming May will see Corinth Canal closed, is June also going to be too early for opening? Couldn't see any specifics apart from reopening 2023 summer...
