Berth / Anchorage for Barcelona - Mid-June 2012

Hi

I am unaware of anchorages in the vicinity of Barcelona.

What are the options for a visiting 13M? (just a few days. I'll be there on business so it has to be reasonably close to town)

Thanks

Stéphane

Re: Berth/anchorage for Barcelona mid June 2010

There are no good anchorages close enough for business visiting or indeed where I'd leave the boat comfortably for long. But Port Vell is one of the great places to be, as it's right at the bottom of the Ramblas. It's not cheap (though cheaper than many Italian marinas in the high season, last time I looked). I believe it's less laid back than it used to be but it is a fantastic location.

Port Olympic is a little way out of town and surrounded by clubs and bars, so not conducive to good nights' sleep.

Google the options. We've a pal who just got annual berthing in Club Nautico Barcelona and would guess if their regular members holiday in June - you might easily secure a spot.
Enjoy

Port Forum marina is nice and on a tram route to the city centre...from memory about 20 minutes from the Ramblas

Right at the bittom of the Ramblas. Very international and protected. Maritime museum and fine restaurants nearby.
