Boatyards in Spain

Anyone know of a cheap haul out yard near the Balerics. Just need to paint the bottom but not sure if i ll be allowed to do the work myself. Also any thoughts on which paint to use in the Med. I m now in Ibiza so anywhere between Alicante- Valencia- Majorca will be ok.

Try San carles Marina, it's about 100km south of Barcelona. It has an open yard policy allowing you to do your own work. Talk to Julie Larman, I found her very helpful and she will let you know what is allowable in the Marina

Almerimar is also near the Balearics, has some of the cheapest rates in western med and let´s you work on your own boat, if you need work doing then the boys at almerimar marine services are very helpful (Almerimar Marine Services - Home)
