Please do. With US politics way beyond being "friendly," let's at least take turns imploding and at least not have both sides of the pond destroying themselves at the same time.

Well, pensioners in the USA have cost-of-living increases, those in Canada do not. Those in the EU do (presently). Turkey does.

Alex.. chill.
You really need a holiday...... when you come back, nothing will have changed.

Ive been here for 5 weeks now... It rained most of the time, I feel depressed and flat a little. We have more to contend with than whether we are in a club or not.....

sigh.. tonight I will occupy myself with looking at narowboats.

Re: BREXIT

If everything goes pear shaped, and with typical British optimism, it probably will, we will be able to content ourselves that the problem will be minor compared to USA vs North Korea, USA vs Iran, USA vs China, USA vs Russia etc.

We dont know the extent of Johnsons plans, I looked in the mail but he deleted me from his mailing list, we REALLY DONT KNOW TILL IT HAPPENS.

In the meantime, .......................

er.. yeah..

It is important to hear everyones view. And if you happened to be a British politician, you could ignore it as you see fit.

Re: BREXIT

No wonder we Scots want to leave after reading this forum it nearly got as bad as those on YBW .
It is for the Scottish people to decide , let us decide and move on , like the last time when we all got back to the pub after the independence ref, and laughed with our remainers
England after Brexit referendum , well what can I say what a nasty , ugly misleading, untrue, unprofessional bunch of jerks and that was just Parliament.

For those in the know (ME) Scotland has a large devolved parliament to the UK and has its own laws , schooling system, and NHS , I will not list the benefits we get more that those in England but it is extensive , and we can do more if the shackles of the London Elite let us go .

Atoll.. Food banks have been around for yonks..
I remember them in B'mth and Poole back in the 1980's, as for immigration problems, they came with the Blair open door policy of the 1990's.. "We cant create more native voters so lets import them instead".
The 5 million + influx has helped stretch the NHS to breaking point but hey... Can't be racist so lets blame old white twats.. they'll soon be dead and gone..

If those are the qualifications for office, they should have no problem getting a job over here. Assuming you manage to throw them out that is. Their pay, benefits, and educational requirements usually make that quite difficult.
