Good morning, John
It is not a big boat its only 38 fot long and only a bit wider then normal, and it swings better then any others, on a radius, of just 38 fot.

Ive been at Cherbourg for 5 months, they have spaces and the office is full of English speakers, not sure what you're doing wrong mate

Well my plans where to sail a bit longer, but maybe Cherbourg is the marina, there are 3 marinas in Cherbourg, witch one to pick. ?

THE marina is "Port de Chantereyne" on the SSW of the "petite rade"

Space in Cherbourg is booked.
Service from the marina office has been very good.
They are a helpfull bunch.

Getting ready for going north.
did have a small testsail just to look at the sails today. and autopilot, rig , but it all looks OK. So we will sail Friday or Saturday. will look for you Erick in Cherbourg.
did ad some pictures on our blogg today.

Well we did leave Les Sables d-olonnes on saturday, 14may. and now we are in Treburden.18may.
Tomorrow we go for Guernsey. then Cherbourg.
So far its been a nice tripp with all working well.

Well fist day we did Port Joinvill, then to Pornichet,and up to Benodet, then around and up to Camaret-sur mer, and today to Treburden.
tomorrow Guernsey.
wife is flying home Saturday. so dont have time for more now, will be back in June again.

IMO, Pornichet is one of the ugliest marinas in France but it is conveniently located.

You were fast, sailing from Camaret to Trébeurden in one day.
