Cheapest diesel fuel I've bought in years and years -- about €1.20/l. Cheap berthing -- €25 - €35 a night even in big cities like Bergen. Electric included. For a 54 foot boat.

Groceries are pretty expensive, but what percentage of your cruising budget is that? Booze -- bring it with you. Restaurants are pretty expensive but not a multiple of the tariff in other Scandi countries.

It's not a reason, not to cruise here, as I have pleasantly discovered.

I bought my boat near Bergen.
Very expensive to live in Norway. But prices at hardware shops and chandlers were ok.
Had a wonderful time pottering about and mooring on village jetties for free.
Great fishing for Mackerel and Haddock.
