Greece, Septeber. Skipper for one or two days

I'm trying to plan a charter in Greece. I would like to hire a skipper/instructor for the first day or two, and then do bareboat for the remaining 5-6 days. One of the brokers just responded that at that time of year no skipper will accept an assignment shorter than a full week. Is that true? Is there no realistic chance of finding a skipper for just a fraction of a charter?


I'm planning to start from Lefkada or Preveza or at least somewhere in the Ionian.
