Hi,

we are heading back from the Med via Gibraltar to the UK - Solent eventually leaving around mid - late August.

I have read re the 2 routes - Crew will be

myself - 40+ years sailing all over the World but with a few health issues - heart etc

my grandson - very strong 21 year old with 10+ years sailing experience

my 18 month old dog - cockerpoo

boat is a 3 year old Jeanneau 490 we have since new

any suggestions re route and any other tips.

I will probably look to add one crew - skipper who has done the trip before.
