Once you open fire on your own people it is usually game over. I hope that they, Tunisia, end up better off after this is all said and done.

Its been a third world country since the French pulled out in 56.

Dirty, corrupt and scary, maybe its time for a clean up.

Hi !
I am a member of a francophone sailing website too (stw.fr)... And a lot of french people are wintering in Tunisia.... It looks like, for the moment, marinas and the touristic aera are not concerned with the troubles...
We have a lot of news on the french TV networks of course... Not good news concerning the Tunisian people indeed... It is difficult to know how the situation will go on...

love to hear from those moored in all the ports, how are you faring out?
Eurometeo gives smooth to calm seas for next three days, may be a comfort if you have to depart.Understand from poster on ybw.com that shops are damaged or closed.Hope it all settles.Lovely people great if they can get an election going and solve the economic problems.Guess what country I live in!
