After the Caribbean season ?

Hi Everyone !

I know it's really early but ... where do you plan to "winter" with your boat after your season in the Caribbean ?
We are insured with Pantaenius and the Hurricane exclusion zone is huge, (7°N to 23.5°N to 50°W) and can't seem to find nice places to enjoy the off-season as liveaboards (With other kids around, for our mental sanity!).

We're French/Swiss citizens if that can rule out a few options where staying is hard ( Like Colombia, 90days max).

Fair winds !

Re: After the Caribbean season ?

Wow. That is a huge exclusion. Looks like it l knocks out all the regular sports - curacao, Bonaire, Grenada, Trinidad etc. Not nice

Hope that’s not a trend for all insurers. Maybe have to go back to them and ask pricing to stay in one of those southern spots with a “hurricane plan”

Re: After the Caribbean season ?

I'm unsure they are open to negotiation but might try .. we've been hit by lightning mid-september so might have ended up on the bad customer list. Waiting to close this case before trying to negotiate
