Are the Bahamas now open to cruisers passing through?

Need to travel from the USVI to the States in the next two weeks.

Has anyone experience with the authorities in the Bahamas for "passing through" under Covid rules?

Can we touch-and-go to get fuel and provisions?

Must we have a Health Cert of some kind?

If there are rules, are they being enforced in Gerogetown and Mayaguana? Nassau? West End?

Need information from those passing through at this moment.

Thanks,

Kip

Re: Are the Bahamas now open to cruisers passing through?

Here’s what I’ve been able to find, I’ve pulled this from an article here.

https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/3190150001

Incoming boaters must plan ahead before traveling. Pre-travel requirements include:

COVID-19 RT-PCR negative test result no older than 10 days, ready to be handed to Customs & Immigration officials upon arrival. (Children under 2 are exempt.) Note: Keep a copy for yourself.

Customs & Immigration forms that must be filled out and printed prior to arrival. They are available at Bahamasmarinas.com.

A Travel Health Card that must be filled out prior to travel, available at travel.gov.bs.

No additional health form is necessary for inter-island travel.

Marinas must be informed at least 48 hours prior to a vessel’s arrival. The form is also available at Bahamasmarinas.com.
