Post Bermuda Triangle

Hi everyone, I am doing a research paper on the Bermuda Triangle and since you are all cruisers I would love to know if any of you have ever experienced anything in those waters and what? I've heard the weather is rough, is it predictable, do you know when its coming? or does it appear out of the blue? describe if possible any weather conditions you might have experienced. Or any information whatsoever will be appreciated.

Thank you all in advance!

Re: Bermuda Triangle

Welcome aboard. I have no experience in that region, but good luck with your project.

Ha!! I sail through this area probably on average once a month. I've never seen anything remotely different to any other bit of sea. The weather is as well forecast as any other region and is not necessarily rougher than the norm... I've had much worse weather off Cape Hatteras, the North Sea, the English Channel and the Mediterannean. That unexplained things have happened there, there is no doubt but maybe, statistically speaking, its not above the mean as it is a well travelled area and criss crossed by shipping routes. Tony
