Re: Best stops heading north - Miami to Saint Mary's

Jacksonville is nice if your not in a hurry. the city offers free slips near the riverwalk and by the jaguars stadium. The riverwalk slips have a grocery not far away.

Re: Best Stops Heading North - Miami to Saint Mary's

The Banks Channel anchorage in the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach, NC area is very nice. It's accessed via of Masonboro Inlet or the ICW. There is a dinghy dock and from there, it's a short walk to one of the prettiest beaches on the Eastern Seaboard as well as a small grocery store, several shops and restaurants. The nearby Seapath Marina has gas and a pumpout station as well.
