Buying outboard in the Bahamas

We are heading to the Bahamas. One item on the long term list is a bigger outboard. Ideally we want a 2 stroke. the 9.8 tohatsu or equivalent would be the number one choice.

Any recent experience of getting hold of these in the Bahamas. We’ve tried searching but lots of results are rather old.

We have a 4hp Yamaha which ways about 60lbs. The 9.8 tohatsu / Nissan is he same weight and this is the limit we can handle on and off the boat.

I was in a dealership in Freeport in April and they had 2 stroke Yamahas 9.9hp for sale. Don't remember the name of the dealership, but I doubt there are many.
