BVIs Boat Repair

BVI Cruisers - Recently purchased a 38' monohull on the hard at Nanny Cay in Tortola. The yard itself does little work on boats but has a list of recommended vendors. I need some thru-hull refits - they list Antilles Yachts Ltd. and Johnny's Maritime Services as general contractors. Does anyone have any experience with either? Thanks!

Re: BVIs Boat Repair

Both are known companies at Nanny Cay, but I've used BVI Marine Management (Tim) a couple of times for big tasks and they are quite good and charge a fair price (for the BVI). They are the shop right next to the 2 travelifts and are also approved vendors in the yard. I've kept my boats at Nanny Cay for years and while they aren't a cheap place for storage and work you won't find a more accommodating crew in the Caribbean.

I would second the recomendation for Tim at BVI Marine Management. We use him for chase calls in the BVI's.
