Charters out of Rio Dulce

Looking to see if anyone here runs charters (skippered or bareboat) out of Rio Dulce? Looked online but didn't see anything (well click&boat had one listing).

Re: Charters out of Rio Dulce

It seems like an awkward place to do it, since the good place to go is Belize, which would involve leaving one country and entering another, then checking out/in again on return. Far easier to charter out of Placencia.
I don't think there's enough cruising just inside the Rio Dulce and lake Izabal to justify chartering.

Just ask on one of the Rio Dulce facebook pages. With lots of bored, broke cruisers, someone will take you for a multiday spin on a decent boat if you are paying.

I agree but being already in Guatemala and Belize having land borders closed, I would need to fly and transit somewhere to enter or find someone locally. Fingers crossed Belize opens land border soon.
