Charts for central and western Caribbean....

I am at this time in Isla Mujeres and wanting sail down to Panama. However, the availability of electronical charts for OpenCPN is poor and even with Garmin GPS78, I cannot find a chart available for Mexican Coast and Belize.
I am reviewing sailing over to Cayman and then down to Honduras, Panama. I've been told to be very. extremely carefull of Nicaraguan Coast due to Pirates? Who has a last update on this issue?

The Nicarguian pirates / poor fishermen are why most people sail out to Vivarillos then down to Providencia. This route keeps you far enough offshore so that they are not a problem.
I think there are more instances of robbery than we hear about along this coast. It it well known in the area to stay off the coast and not be tempted by the short cut to or from Roatan.
