Chincoteague Inlet Coast Guard Rescue Grounded Sailboat
Three boaters airlifted off a large European-looking sailboat stuck in Chincoteague Inlet. I have always followed the advice in Schellenberger's Cruising the Chesapeake book that the only acceptable inlet between the Chesapeake Bay and Delaware Bay is Ocean City, Maryland, and only in the best of conditions.
