Well it probably would cause confusion for you and some others that lack experience anchoring a boat, but luckily for me, I have been doing that since age 16 on my own boat and before that on other people's boats.

That's also the reason I could buy a boat without a survey and get a decent one for the purchase price of $2,000 which included the CQR anchor that I have been using for the last 10 years

This is a much better picture of the CQR I have been using these past 10 years that came with my boat.

Some folks do need experience though to get the best performance out of an old style anchor
