Edgartown moorings

Please forgive the noob question but can anyone give me a heads up on the rental mooring setup in Edgartown? We are doing our first overnight trip on our 34 footer setting out from Chatham. When picking up our mooring my wife is at the helm and I’m on the foredeck with the hook. To reduce marital stress it would be helpful to know if the rental moorings have pennants or if I need to hook the ring and run a line. We have a reservation so that piece is set. Thanks in advance.

When we were last in Edgartown the moorings had pennants to snag with the boathook. You could call the outfit you're getting the mooring from to make sure, but they're not likely to have changed.
Agree that having to run your own line through a ring is not fun, and when they put the ring on a pipe to bring it up to deck level -- to make it easier -- it bangs against the boat all day and night and is even worse.
