Favorite San Blas Island

We plan to cruise the San Blas Islands during January 2011. Do you have any favorite islands and/or anchorages ? I am having a hard time narrowing our choices. Thanks.

Anachakuna(?) near to Obaldia on The Columbian/Panamanian border.
Extraordinary. Like being in a national geographic photo spread!

There are SO many. Be sure to get the Bauhaus guide and the Bauhaus charts.

We had a magic day by our selves at a little beach we found after anchoring at Hot Tub anchorage at Holandes Cays and exploring to the west by dingy.

Esnasdup Island was also beautiful.

Re: Favorite San Blas Island

This is a place I really hope to make it to one day - so I'm glad to see this 12 year old thread revived !

And yes I'm serious. It is a little funnny but I've already learned something from it so keep it going.

Re: Favorite San Blas Island

Cruising those islands I will divide them in two sections, mayor points to resupply, these will be the closer to where you are at any time and then just follow your whim at the moment, since a lifetime will not be enough to "see them all".
This particular island (have no position) just looked right!!!
spent a few days and moved on.
