Grenada Bareboat May vs August

Was thinking of doing a 10 day bareboat in Grenada with Sunsail or Moorings. Currently have a reservation for May 2020 in the Exumas but obviously that base is destroyed.

What are your guys' thoughts on the weather between May vs August and any other considerations I should be making with your inside information? Will a hurricane hitting higher up on the chain cause any issues?

As previously mentioned by others, Exhuma, Bahamas is still a great destination in May, water is pristine, and easy to navigate.

Grenada is a good destination if you plan to go ashore and visit. Sailing could be a mix of motoring on the leeward side and sometimes a bumpy ride between the islands. Diving is nice in the Grenadines but more crowded than the Exumas.

Unless you like high humidity and temperature, August is in the middle of the rain season and even if Grenada is located on the edge of the hurricane box, this is, in my opinion the worst time for chartering in the Caribbean .
