Grenada to West coast of FL - Routes?

I thought I'd gather some thoughts from this community regarding a route home from Grenada. I plan on going back to St. George's in mid-January, leaving there hypothetically the 20th of January.

I want to take as little time as possible to get her home, stopping at a few places just to resupply, take a rest, etc. So far I'm thinking since I came down the Caribbean chain by way of Bahamas, DR, PR, etc., that on the way home I'd try to sail up to Guadeloupe and then perhaps cross towards Jamaica, Caymans, Mexico, and then home to St. Petersburg, FL.

Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Very doable route, but of course Mexico gets you downwind of St Pete, but many jump from Isla Mujeres to Florida...just wait for a front. Best to get there still in cold front season for that obviously.
