All good. I just want to share some information with you before you become so paranoid to think you need more than the gun you were already taking and need to "up the ante" to an AR15.

All good anyhow
Not paranoid at all, and by the way, the AR is legal to take and will be by my side, but not all the lovely ammo i was dreaming of (boo hoo) the limit is 200 rounds. Anchoring next to me would even make you sleep better at night, me on the other hand would rather tread water all night long than have to suffer your genius insights for more than a few minutes.

I expect it's by your side, LOCKED, as the law of the country you are visiting states. Another genius insight to add to your suffering.

Im sure with all the fear you seem to have about anchoring out in the beautiful Bahamas (Caribbean country, but not in the Caribbean Sea per se), you won't be sleeping much anyhow, so you might as well just stay treading water with your camo wetsuit and your full face war paint on while holding your AR15 up high (locked inside a box to comply with local law please), so you are ready to ready to blaze all those bullets through the Bahamian dawn if any methhead Bahamian island pig dares come on board your sailboat ...

Some of you have no idea how ridiculous you sound to the rest of the world.

Someone who calls ammo ... lovely ... Now I get HOW that gun is sleeping with you.

Im sure all the women really enjoy sleeping with you and your AR15, and your lovely 200 bullets. Sure of it.

So to be clear, "bad intentions" is enough for the death penalty without trial according to your moral code? And after your criminal act of vigilante justice your plan is to slip away from the authorities. Sounds like you may be the one in big trouble if you ever pull crap like that.

Re: guns in the Bahamas

So, if you wanna carry all that to the Bahamas, how much heat would you need if you visited, say, the South side of Chicago? I suspect that the nuclear non-proliferation treaty might inhibit your plans, but someone as dedicated as you will find a way around the rules, and safe travel will be accomplished.

Sarcasm aside, you sure don't sound like an experienced cruiser. I suspect that this will continue to be true.
