On line with someone there that has a facebook page. Initial reports the boats in the work yard are "doing good". He will post a detailed report hopefully tomorrow when he can get out and check the whole yard, storage lots, etc.

Expecting all the boats on the hard should be OK but the St Johns River was at all time high levels so boats in the water on fixed docks might have had a problem. No word on boats at GCS on moorings or at the docks there.

Another Green Cove Marina guest here. We put our boat up in storage back in May, stripped and strapped down.

I suspect she is fine but am looking for confirmation. Weather underground indicated about 40MPH for a couple of hours I believe.

Tried calling but line just goes to a fast busy indicating circuits down.

Tried calling numerous times myself with the same result. All news I've been able to get there's no serious damage to any boats on the hard. There is flooding with a foot or so of water in the parking lot and still a couple of hours before high tide.

If you are asking about Green Cove, have not heard of any other boats on the hard tipped over. Just one, fin keel, white hull, light grey bottom about 40'. Couldn't see the name in the photo.

Also, from the photo it looked like that boat was in the work yard. So far haven't heard of any problems in storage.

Re: Heads up: Hurricane IRMA upgraded to cat 3

Great! Thanks for the welcome and for the update No call from the marina and our boat doesn't fit the description you mentioned above, so I'm guessing we're okay! Will update on the general state of things when we get there in a couple weeks
