You best put on your drinking shoes. Bomba Shack on Tortola for a full moon party, Soggy Dollar bar, bubbly pool on Jost, Willy T's in the bite on Norman Island, good snorkeling there as well, The baths on Virgin Gorda is a good take as well. Bare boated there several times. Never had a bad experience.

No noise that I recall, but also not a single boat in the Deep Bay either, what was a bit spooky given the 20 plus knots easterly wind outside the sheltered harbour, but maybe it was the time of the day. Another observation that I forgot to mention was that there was no problem to get a mooring buoy even at 4 pm. And we were lucky a couple of nights to have it free as nobody showed up to collect the fee. Cheaper than BoatyBall and no need to get up at 7 am to book one. Most are booked by 7:01 anyway.

Bomba’s Shack is no more thanks to Irma. See “BVI Charter Chat” (public) on Facebook where there is a lot of discussion of bareboating in the BVI. Someone has been posting pictures of Bomba’s back in the day. Concerning this thread, we had a good experiences with BVI Yacht Charter last year. Moorings has also been good.
